I have had the privilege of working with Jay on several projects, spanning several years, involving my home in Kingston, Ontario. The residing (and insulation) of the entire exterior of my house, new seamless gutters with soffit and fascia replacement, several pane/thermal replacements, several full window installs, and recently an exterior HDTV antenna and bracket installed on the peak of the gable end of my roof. I have also recommended him to several of my friends and co-workers who have also enjoyed his craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Jay Charbonneau is the hardest working man I think I’ve seen. I am personally impressed. As someone who used to do part time construction and still dabbles in smaller, indoor projects (e.g. I rebuilt my kitchen and basement) I am not easy to please. He tirelessly works weekends and holidays. He even showed up on the morning of Canada Day 2015, during the siding project. In any project there will be unexpected complications, and his ability to find solutions is impressive. He genuinely showed commitment and concern for each, and every project. This is evidenced by his excellent communication skills about the requirements, the goals, and the time-line for each project.
I fully recommend, and look forward to working with again, Jay Charbonneau from Wise Home Improvements.

Jay of Wise Home Improvements is a great contractor if your looking for someone reliable and highly qualified to do any siding installations, and window and door replacements. We have been very cautious about hiring contractors after having very bad luck in the past.
We had absolutely no regrets with Jay!!
He came out to the house and discussed what we wanted done and got right back to us with a quote and the time frame to complete the job.
Jay assured us when he finished the job it would be complete, we would not have to finish up ourselves or hire another contractor to come in and do trim around the windows as quoted by others.
If we had any concerns or questions he didn't have any problems with answering them. Jay always took the time to make sure we were happy with the work.
We would hire Jay again and seek his expertise in a heart beat!!

We recently had a window replacement done by Jay Charbonneau of Wise Home Improvements. We are very pleased with the exceptional quality of his products and workmanship.
Jay arrives fully equipped with all his professional tools at hand. He works methodically and carefully, paying attention to detail. His forethought mean less inconvenience to us during this process. Although our window was replaced in the middle of January, the time we were exposed to the outdoor weather was incredibly minimal, thanks to his careful planning. Further he placed coverings on the floor to avoid any debris or caulking on our carpet.
This is not the first time we had Jay of Wise Home Improvements do work for us. Last year he installed windows in our rental properties. The windows were professionally installed and we are very pleased with his work. He custom made the aluminum trim around the exterior of the windows so we don’t need to paint. He left the job site clean and ready to use.
Now we are considering further renovations, and of course will look to Wise Home Improvements as we know it is a name we can trust in the home renovation industry.
